On some Mercedes applications rubber spacers are used between the spring and vehicle body. If your intended application has these spacers fitted then you should use spacers marked with one "dot" to get the lowest ride height. Thicker spacers are fitted to vehicles that have air conditioning and automatic gearboxes (3-4 "dots" on the front), or that are used with trailers (3 "dots" at the rear).

Spax manufacture a huge range of adjustable shock absorbers that can be used with any make of lowering spring. The Spax PSX adjustable sports dampers can be bought individually or as a kit. Although the dampers can be bought individually we recommend you always buy dampers in pairs!

Each Spax PSX adjustable dampers is oil filled and gas assisted. The dampers are fully adjustable, set the car up as you like, hard or soft, you decide! The front dampers are top adjustable and the rear dampers base adjustable. There are approximately 25 different damping settings so you can set the car up exactly as you like.
