To compliment their superb range of aftermarket suspension and coilover kits FK have started manufacturing their own range of anti roll bars.
A special anti roll bar has been developed for cars built on the VW Golf 4 chassis type. When lowering these cars more than 55mm the standard factory anti roll bar and driver’s side drive shaft begin to make contact. This contact can be heard inside the vehicle via a loud tapping sound when the car is driven over a bump. With the car being so low the drive shaft actually touches the factory roll bar. This only occurs on the driver’s side as this is fitted with a much larger diameter shaft than the passenger side.
The FK anti roll bar has large loops which have been built into the roll bar design which allows around 60mm of extra clearance. The FK Automotive roll bar is 23mm in diameter and comes with 2 FK up-rated roll bar bushes.
Once fitted the car will safely lower to approx 100mm!
