To fit a Momo steering wheel you will need a boss kit. The Momo boss replaces the factory fit boss allowing you to fit your aftermarket Momo steering wheel. There are basically two types of hub kit available. One type for cars without airbags the other for cars fitted with an airbag. The airbag boss kit comes with a resistor which when fitted will turn off the air bag warning light which appears when you remove the factory air bag (remember if your car is fitted with an airbag, always disconnect the battery as injury may result if the airbag goes off) we always advise customers to have their airbag removed by a competent garage. |
